Same-Day Vasectomy Consult & Procedure

What to expect

Dr. Julie Connolly recognizes that traveling for medical care can be both time-consuming and costly. To better accommodate our out-of-town patients, we offer same-day vasectomy consultation and procedure appointments every Friday between 11-12pm. During your visit, you will meet with Dr. Connolly for a thorough consultation where she will review the procedure in detail, including its risks and benefits. A scrotal exam will then be performed to assess your suitability for an office-based no-scalpel vasectomy. *Important Notice* As this will be your first assessment with Dr. Connolly, she must determine your eligibility for the procedure based on your anatomy and medical history. In rare cases, certain findings may indicate that a same-day vasectomy is not advisable. While this is uncommon, please be aware that you may leave your appointment without the procedure being performed. What is the cost? Because vasectomy is fully covered by OHIP, there is no cost for the procedure, nor the consult. Any costs associated with off-work letters or work-related forms can be discussed at the time of your appointment. Please bring a travel grant form and Dr. Connolly will be happy to fill it out for you.
